Welcome!
I am Kate Rose, a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design studying for my B.F.A. in Production Design with a concentration in Costume Design. I have worked for years on costume crews, starting at the Youth Performing Arts School in my hometown Louisville, Kentucky. At SCAD I developed my skills in classrooms, the costume shop, backstage at theatres, and on film sets. By working at all levels of the costume department I learned all steps of costume development from script to set. Being the costume designer and wardrobe manager on multiple theatrical productions and student films has taught me management and organizational skills and how to lead a team to develop your designs.
My dedication, collaborative spirit, and knowledge of various parts of costume production make me an asset to any crew. I love seeing a character on paper or in my head come to life and I hope to continue bringing the magic of entertainment to people.
